All of our custom items are made to order. So when you place an order with us we utilize materials and time to make it for you. That being said, we do not offer returns, refunds, exchanges or cancelations on our items due to their custom nature. You may contact us if you need to change your order and changes will only be made it if the item has not already gone into production. If the item has been drafted for a proof and you wish to make a change, a design fee of $15 is subject to the order and must be paid before the design changes are made. Contact us directly if you feel there is a problem with your order or wish to alter the customization. (Check the product description of the item you are ordering, there may be design revisions included)

What does bare wood mean?
Bare wood is the natural wood colour. No paint or stain is applied. You may paint or stain your item yourself if you wish. We recommend using spray paint only and covering the stick with tape to avoid paint going into your cake.
Do you offer other colours than the ones listed?
YES! Make your custom colour request within the notes section of your checkout. We will contact you to ensure that we can make the colour your looking for.
How soon should I order?
If you have decided on the item you love, make the order as soon as possible. We do get a lot of orders and will make them in the order that they are received. If production timelines change we will update our website timelines for production and shipping.
My event is coming up soon, how fast can my order be processed?
We do offer rush orders. Phone us at 613-779-9800 and place your order by phone and we will give you the quickest timeline available and a rush cost. If you wish to have rush shipping, we can do that too with one day shipping. You would be quoted for it before being charged for the item. The fastest timeline for production is 2 days with 1-2 day shipping within most of Canada.
Please leave your wedding/event date in the "note to seller" section at the time of purchase, as well as a date you'd like to have your item(s) by. This will be a great way to keep us on track. Thank you in advance!
What happens if my address was wrong for shipping?
We are not responsible if items have been shipped to the "wrong address" because the buyer has not updated address (after a recent move, or what ever the case may be). No refund will be given since it is the responsibility of the buyer to have entered their information properly. If the item is not shipped back to us from the wrong address by the shipping company we are not responsible for any costs. If it is returned to us, you would be responsible for any new shipping fees if you want the item re-shipped.
I would like my item custom sized, how do I go about doing that?
Enter all details on the check out page. If you are asking for something outside of the shop of the item price, we will contact you with options to see how you would like your item made.

What do Invitations sets generally cost?
Pricing starts at around $2.45 a set printed. (Invite, envelope, postcard rsvp) and go up form there based on how you want you customize your set.
DIY material sets start at $1.00 a set.
Non-Custom sets start at $125 for 75 sets and have a wide price and design selection.
Boxed sets pricing varies per style from $29.99 to $39.99 for either 25 or 50 set packages. You can D.I.Y the printing yourself or we can do it for you! Printing for Boxed sets is $1 per set. (includes Invite, rsvp, and tags, if included in set)
Do I have to Order a certain number of invitations?
For Custom Invitations - Minimum quantity of 10
For D.I.Y. Materials - Minimum quantity of 10
For non-custom sets - Order in sets of 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, etc.
How can you meet my budget?
Most of our cardstocks are also available as paper, so you can layer with paper and print on paper and save about half the cost of cardstock. You can also down size the actual size of the invitation to save.
Tips for Saving Money
Assemble your own invitations
Take out a few background layers
Patterns are the most expensive then textured metallics, metallics and mattes. To save money consider using matte colours instead of metallics, textured metallics etc.
Have the design made in a smaller size, instead of a 6x9 invitation order a 5x7 invitation or 4x5. Instead of a 7x7 invitation order a 5x5 invitation.
Do a postcard Rsvp instead of adding extra envelopes.
Have all the information you need in your invitation and inserts ready to avoid extra revisions. (you get 3 revisions included, after that there is a fee)
Can you do Online orders?
Yes. If you know what you want ordering through email or phone is very easy.
Is there added Tax?
Yes. HST is charged.
Photos can be added to your invitations, call for a quote.
How long before I wish to mail my invitations should I make an appointment?
To ensure enough time to complete, make appointments at least 2 months before you wish to mail out your invites. The more time the better incase I am fully booked with clients. For rush orders, I can have sets competed within one week for a rush fee. Call for a quote.
What is the approval process for artwork and typesetting?
After you have given me an idea of the style you wish to convey, i will produce design draft options for you to critique through a PDF file I will email you.
Once you have chosen your design, you will submit any edits you wish to see on your invites and inserts. From there finals will be produced and you can approve in person (through a print test) or via email.
Can you print place cards and table numbers?
Yes and match them to your invites.
Can you do invitations in other languages?
Yes, all other languages type must be submitted and spell checked by the client.
Can offers be joined on one order?
No. Any vouchers or deals are stand alone and cannot be joined with other offers.
Are Gift Certificates available?
Yes, in any amount you need. I can also produce Gift Certificates for your business.
Can you Ship my invitations to me?
Yes. We use Couriers such as UPS, CANPAR and FED EX.
Can you add postage to my RSVP’s while assembling?
Yes, current postage rates will apply. There is no charge for this assembly, this saves you time, by not having to take apart all the sets to put a stamp on the rsvp envelope.
Invitations are typically sent 2-4 months before the wedding date. However, if you are having a destination wedding or you are marrying over the holidays, you should send out the invitations 4 to 6 months before the wedding. If you are concerned with people’s availability you should first send ‘save the date’ cards.
We also suggest that you order your invitations 2 months before you plan to send them out to ensure you have time to address them.
Invitations take around 4-5 weeks to receive and produce, Please note that you should also leave time for the design process of the invitation when there will be some going back and forth to make sure the invitations are designed exactly how you want them.
Rush Invitations can be completed within 1 week for an increased fee, call for quote.
Once you place your order for Invitation supplies it take aprox. 1 week for your order to come in, at which time you can pick them up or have them shipped to you.
Follow some basic rules for addressing your invitations: You only need 1 invitation per household. If you wish to control who is invited, this is where you do it. Addressing lets people know who's invited, so make sure there are no misunderstandings.
When you address a letter to:
The Smith Family or The Smith Household - Everyone in that house, including children are invited.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith or Mr. John Smith & Mrs. Jane Smith - Only those listed are invited.
Mr. John Smith - No guest is invited
Mr. John Smith and Guest - Tells them a guest is invited.
Couples who live together receive a single invitation. Address it the same way you’d address the invitation of a married couple with different last names.
Address an invitation to a married couple, both doctors like this: The Doctors Smith. It’s that simple. If they are married, but have different last names, list both names in alphabetical order (on separate lines): Dr. Benton, and on the next line, Dr. Smith
Married couple, one a doctor: the spouse with the professional title is listed first. Dr. Kate Lawler and Mr. Brian Lawler or Dr. and Mr. Lawler A widow is traditionally addressed as “Mrs. John Smith”, but if you feel the guest may not want to be addressed that way, ask how she prefers to be addressed
A divorced woman who has kept her married name should be addressed as Ms. Jane Alden
Same sex couple who have exchanged vows: Ms. Jane Allen Ms. Tara Allen. List Jane first, as “J” comes before “T” alphabetically. If you do not want to use titles or put the two on separate lines, use Jane and Tara Allen
